TechCare is happy to invite you to participate to the 16th EAAP Webinar “Innovative technologies for welfare management in sheep & goats systems”! The webinar is co-organized by TechCare project and EAAP, and will be held on Tuesday, January 17th 2023, from 15:00 to 17:00 (CET). The webinar will be chaired by Claire Morgan-Davies – SRUC, coordinator of the Project, from the Scotland’s Rural College (UK). The first presentation will be given by Grete Jørgensen from “NIBIO” (Norway) & Cathy Dwyer (SRUC) which will present “Assessing priority welfare issues for sheep and goats in intensive and extensive systems”. Germain Tesnière from “Idele” (France) & Eliel Gonzalez-Garcia from “INRAE” (France) will then talk about “How to monitor welfare issues on sheep & goats farms with innovative technologies?”. Finally, the last talk will be titled “Facial recognition of sheep as an alternative to RFID in indoors systems to inform on animal’s issues”, presented by Ilan Halachmi from “ARO” (Israel).
