TechCare’s People: Gabriella Serra!

Hi I am Gabriella! Agronomist, PhD in Agricultural and Forestry Systems and Food Production Sciences and researcher at the Nutrition research sector in Agris. I work with dairy sheep and cattle breeding systems, environmental sustainability of sheep and cattle farms, LCA study and Carbon footprint estimation. Currently, my activity is oriented towards the application of the LCA method to evaluate the environmental impact in terms of Carbon footprint and protection of biodiversity in dairy sheep and dairy and beef cattle farms in Sardinia and in the Mediterranean area. In TechCare project I collaborate on the activities of WP3 – Prototyping & PLF and WP5 – Pilot and large-scale farms, WP7 – Communication and dissemination.
