Hi! I am Manon Rinn (LTP “La Cazotte”). I am the technician responsible of the ewes’ flock at the experimental farm of “La Cazotte” agricultural high school (TechCare pilot farm). With an advanced technician’s certificate in Animal Production (BTSA), I began my career as a technician in an organisation specialized in genetic selection and technical advisory services for dairy sheep flocks in the Roquefort cheese production area. I joined the “La Cazotte” farm 5 years ago as part of a team with a wealth of experience and I was able to develop my skills in setting up and monitoring on farm trials in different thematic areas (animal feeding, production, reproduction, health, welfare, improvement of on-call working conditions in livestock farming). As part of the Techcare project, I have been involved in setting up trials, monitoring them and collecting the data on the “La Cazotte” pilot farm. With my colleagues, I am also involved in communication activities on the project, the on-farm technology trials, and the protocols for welfare assessment measures of dairy ewes.
