Hi! My name is Marco Stocchino and I am responsible for the IoT and Industry 4.0 area of Abinsula, with a background in Electronic Engineering. In 2004 I joined Softphobia staff as a software developer, participating in the development of large web portals. From 2004 to 2013 I worked for Akhela developing embedded Linux systems with verticalization on VOIP, home automation and automotive. From 2009 to 2013 I coordinated a team for the development of strategies for managing USB devices in cars and interfacing smartphones with cars, still used by German cars of the BMW manufacturer. Finally, in 2013 I joined Abinsula where I scout, train, and coordinate software development teams. In fact, I coordinate the development of innovative products based on custom HW design for IoT technologies, with applications for smart metering, home automation, and Industry 4.0. I currently work on creating new turnkey services that accompany the customer throughout the entire development cycle of a new product. As part of the TechCare project, I am responsible for the design and implementation of IoT technologies for precision agriculture.
