The SRUC Hill & Mountain Research Centre, in the West Highlands of Scotland, is where one of the UK pilot trials was held.
TechCare, a 5-year project funded by the EU H2020 program and led by SRUC, focuses on enhancing welfare management in small ruminant farming through advanced precision livestock farming (PLF) technologies.
The 75th annual meeting of the European Federation of Animal Science took place in Florence in Italy this year, from 1-5 September. It has been another great occasion for some of the TechCare partners to meet in person and showcase the project’s results.
